§ 25. Effective date of ordinances.

Be it further enacted, that all ordinances adopted by said mayor and city council for the government of said city, or which are required to be observed under penalty, shall take effect ten (10) days after the adoption thereof, unless otherwise ordered by said mayor and city council.
